Important dates for your diary as well as essential information on how the competition works from entry to the finals.
Initial Judging
Contestants are invited to create innovative sandwiches or food to go products in accordance with the sponsor brief – making any sponsored ingredient the star of the show – together with any other ingredients of their choice.
The contestants will need to consider the judging criteria when creating their dish - taste, presentation, texture, commercial viability and innovative use of the sponsors product.
They will then be asked to submit online written recipes no later than 24 January 2025 together with a photograph of their creation.
The recipes will be judged anonymously by the sponsors and the top recipes chosen will progress to the regional heats and the semi-finalists will be notified week commencing 17 February 2025.

The Final
Heat winners in each of the categories will progress to the live final which takes place on 8 May 2025 at the Royal LancasterLondon ahead of the Sammies Awards Dinner, where the winners will be revealed.
